Sales Operations Specialist (Onsite/Remote in USA/CAN)

Worldline is on a mission to shape ‘the most customer-focused payments experience’. Join our team in either Canada or the US as a Sales Ops Specialist where you will have the chance to support our Sales team and our customers, enabling quality decisions to be made and ensuring the functionality of the sales organization. As a Sales Ops Specialist, every day there will be a wide variety of operational tasks to closely manage alongside complex problems to solve. Solving these problems will require that you draw on your superior listening skills, collecting feedback from multiple stakeholders while being firm in expectation management. It is important that you have a solution-oriented mindset and can see the bigger picture in the needs of the Sales organization.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include

  • You will support the onboarding and management of new and existing customers by effectively processing and managing new and ongoing hardware orders as well as gateway onboarding, working closely with the Integrations and Customer Support team throughout
  • You will coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the Sales organization
  • Through proactive support and monitoring, you will strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the sales teams planning and execution efforts
  • You will work to ensure all sales objectives are assigned in a timely manner
  • You will work as part of a team to provide proactive experiences – By working closely with the Head of Sales and the Head of Operations, you will inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. You’ll focus on documentation, maintaining detailed notes of your interactions, documenting problems, and solutions for the Sales team to use. You’ll interface with many areas of our business in a truly collaborative fashion.
  • You will assist management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and work to unblock the sales team while supporting the needs of our customers
  • You will monitor the accuracy and distribution of sales reports and other data sets essential to running the business
  • You will support the management the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) within Worldline’s acceptable limits
  • You’ll help in coordinating training for the sales team when required
  • You’ll strive to make all customers happy, which means answering their questions regarding hardware orders, their experience or redirecting them to the appropriate client services team
  • You’ll collaborate daily with other teams and departments, including Customer Support, Integrations and Boarding to support the operations of the Sales team. Similarly, you will actively participate in our feedback culture, knowing that open communication is essential to building a high-performance Sales team.

  • You have E-Commerce and/ or card scheme payments experience and knowledge

Skills and abilities we would like

  • Handheld payment device (terminals) management experience – major bonus!
  • Experience working with a Ticketing tool – such as Zendesk, JIRA Service desk
  • Fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
