POSITION SUMMARY
Provides professional, courteous customer service by screening all individuals entering the facility at designated entrances.  Ability to respond to situations and reactions associated with a public facing position.  POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Formal Education / Training:
High school diploma or equivalent

Workplace Experience:
Experience in a professional customer service oriented environment

Equipment and Skills Training:
Forehead and oral thermometer, Personal Protective Equipment (mask), excellent customer service skills, problem-solving skills to determine appropriate course of action in situations, Ability to handle difficult situations/interactions in a professional manner, Strong communication skills.

Physical Environment:
Specific access entry points of the hospital – Main, Outpatient and Garage Ground floor entrances

Physical Effort:
1.    Requires prolonged standing and sitting
2.    Flexibility to shift schedule
3.    Communicate in English verbally.

KEY RESULTS
1.    Promptly acknowledges all individuals entering the facility
2.    Properly performs temperature screening on all individuals entering the facility.   Asks all screening questions related to COVID 19 exposure status and symptoms
3.    Monitors and maintains social distancing compliance at all times.
Utilizes excellent customer service skills to assure patients/visitors/staff/physicians our priority is to keep everyone safe.
4.    Provides accurate information and assists with customer needs or identifies those resources needed to assist customer.
5.    Reports concerns requiring attention to the nursing supervisor or director or occupational health.
6.    Consistently wears appropriate PPE required to perform the job safely
7.    Knowledgeable and informed about the layout of the hospital – familiar with department names and locations.
8.    Maintains work area and personal appearance in a way that reflects professionalism and demonstrates to our patients, visitors and coworkers the importance we place on cleanliness, orderliness and safety.
9.    Maintains appropriate supply of items needed for screenings.  Ensures equipment is functioning properly.
10.    Performs other related duties assigned by Manager or Director.
11.    Demonstrates responsibility for assigned communications
12.    Maintains position specific qualifications
