Position Summary

The position is responsible for content creation and dissemination via social media platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Researches, conceptualizes, pitches, and creates original social content; layout and edits vertical stories.
  • Produces, screens, and edits social media visuals (e.g., infographics) and animations. Films and edits videos for the organization’s social media channels.
  • Produces and modifies high-quality photos and videos with a mix of text, graphics, photos, and animations; optimizes video content for social platforms; conducts quality control of video content for dissemination on institutional social platforms.
  • Collaborates with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and engaging.
  • Ensures image brand consistency and quality across social media platforms.
  • Collaborates across the team to coordinate, optimize, and promote media content and produces complementary graphics and animations as needed.
  • Interfaces with divisions in gathering communication materials and responding to queries to enhance content submission and supports in providing advice on launching social media presence for specific requirements or initiatives.
  • Conducts research on potential emerging social media trends.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass-Communications, or related field with 5 – 6 years of relevant experience out of which 3 years of social media management, marketing experience, content creation, graphic design, data collection and analyses.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of social media trends, platforms, marketing tools, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Photoshop).

Research Specialist Level 4-Epidemiology/Biostatistics (68123)

Working with little supervision from the Principal Investigator (PI), the primary purpose of this role is to assist with the study design, collection and statistical analysis of data, and interpretation & dissemination of results on various epidemiologic studies and analyses.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses.
  • Performs a variety of other statistical analyses. Manipulates, computes, and analyzes data using statistical computer software and develops new analytical methods and testing procedures.
  • Prepares and maintains detailed records, logs, and summary reports of all data and statistical analysis charting.
  • Assists with epidemiologic study design, study instruments, and protocols.
  • Performs sample size calculations and power analyses.
  • Prepares drafts of research plans for grant applications.
  • Contributes to publishing of research findings in scientific journals and supports presentations at major medical/scientific meetings.
  • Assists and contributes to research planning, policies, and procedures development activities.

Position Summary

The position is responsible for academic managing the process of appointments, promotions, renewals, and terminations of faculty members at WCM-Q. The incumbent also acts as a primary liaison between assigned hospitals and institutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures timely and accurate completion of appointments and reappointments for physicians at assigned hospitals. Ensures all appointments follow WCM policies and guidelines.
  • Provides expert guidance in developing promotion dossiers and related paperwork for appointments, renewals, etc.
  • Understands and applies relevant working knowledge related to medical education training in the USA and internationally in managing the affairs of the division.
  • Acts as primary liaison between the assigned affiliated hospitals/institutions, the WCM-Q Office, the WCM Academic Departments, and the WCM Office of Faculty Affairs for all issues related to various faculty affairs initiatives and projects.
  • Establishes and implements policies, procedures, and deadlines for academic staff personnel actions.
  • Oversees the administration and operations of the faculty affairs department.
  • Oversees all aspects of QML and QCHP licensing and other annual compliance requirements.
  • Keeps abreast of WCM appointment and promotion criteria as well as the latest developments in undergraduate and graduate medical education and educates and guides the Clinical and Faculty Affairs team accordingly.
  • Evaluates and revises administrative processes, plans, and runs the operations of the department.
  • Designs and delivers promotion seminars, workshops, and training on academic staff policies and procedures including preparation of CPD accreditation applications for applicable seminars and workshops.
  • Manages the staff performance and mentors them by providing constructive feedback.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences or any other field with 9-10 years of related experience managing faculty and clinical affairs in an academic healthcare setup. Master’s degree is preferred.

Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of medical education, research, and clinical care sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams to achieve results collaboratively across programs and institutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a multi-cultural background.
  • Fluent in English, with advanced writing skills. Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
