Overview / Job Description

Plumber Lead

Under the supervision of the Trade Shop Supervisor, the Plumber Lead oversees construction, maintenance involving plumbing equipment and related devices on construction projects for the PWD Projects Team. Conducts Field Surveys (FS) and Initial Assessments (IA’s) for potential construction projects. This task includes but is not limited to the calculation of Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Labor Hours, Project Technical Approaches, Field /Technical Drawings, Project Assumptions and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Ensures personnel exhibit superior workmanship and focus on delivering a quality product. Follows UFC’s and Department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all tasks are accomplished safely, with a focus upon quality and plumbing code compliance. Will have direct oversight of Plumbers. Verifies actual hours worked by personnel to reduce manpower expenditure. Provides Leadership and mentors junior personnel to develop appropriate skillsets. Addresses Customer concerns in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Must have a home-country Driver’s License and be able to acquire a U.S. Government Driver’s License.

  • Provides leadership, guidance, and technical assistance to Plumbers in the performance of day-to-day activities.
  • Prioritize, assign and schedule work for the Projects Plumbing team.
  • Passes instructions received from Projects Supervisor and starts work by assigning immediate tasks.
  • Checks work in-progress to verify work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines have been met.
  • Trains workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Monitors information to detect or assess problems.
  • Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, as well as the time and materials expended.
  • Provides guidance and direction to subordinates as required.

Qualifications

Quality Auditor (OCN)

  • Responsible for the Internal Audit Program to include scheduling and guiding Department Auditors through process audits. Coordinate all Internal Operating Procedure and Project Order changes with program management and Vectrus Systems Corporation Quality Management Office. Responsible for reporting program performance based metrics using sophisticated charting techniques.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform duties IAW established policies and standard procedures.
  2. Audit processes and monitor discrepancies until resolution.
  3. Develop, review and report audit results.
  4. Write process documentation (i.e. Internal Operating Procedures and Work Instructions)
  5. Act as POC for action items related to audit discrepancies or other process related activities.
  6. Support and exercise process improvement methodologies including Value Based Lean Six-Sigma.
  7. Assist personnel in the understanding and use of process improvement tools, architecture, and related assets.
  8. Manages the intranet document QMS control site by ensuring document creation/revisions are reviewed and controlled.
  9. Manage and report performance based metrics for the program.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of Six Sigma/Lean methods, two or more years in a position where tools and techniques were employed is desirable.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of ISO (International Standards Organization) 9001-2008.
  • Three to five years direct experience as an internal auditor on a program.

Skills:

  • Proficient with MS Office software tool suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) as well as excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English as exemplified in writing and in verbal skills.

Working Environment:

  • Job assignments will involve the conduct of work in out-of-doors areas with exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Cleaning Technician Lead, Qatar

The Cleaning Technician Lead is responsible for the scheduling of personnel, work supervision and quality control of custodial services as specified in the Performance Work Statement for Recreational Service areas such as the Lodging facilities, Fitness Centers, Lounges, Community Activity Centers, Learning Resource Center, Media Center and Theaters. The Cleaning Technician Lead reports to the Base Custodial Manager and may supervise the following position(s): Cleaning Technicians.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the overall management, execution, and personnel supervision of maintenance and custodial services as specified in the Performance Work Statement.
  2. Perform as Facility Manager and coordinate with the Lead Maintenance Technician and other designated Facility Managers and Alternate Facility Managers to ensure cleaning and maintenance duties are accomplished in assigned buildings IAW the PWS.
  3. Responsible for monitoring other country nationals in accordance with AFCENTI 32-1002 and obtain escort badge.
  4. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards, leading by example, working as a team and providing well maintained equipment and facilities.
  5. Prepares reports, enforces safety and performance standards.
  6. Shall perform work in a safe manner that presents a clean, neat and professional appearance while maintaining satisfactory facility and equipment conditions.
  7. Oversees and performs custodial work including, but not limited to, restroom cleaning and supply replenishment, floors, baseboards, corners and wall/floor edges, light fixtures, interior glass/mirrors, sink and counter, laundry rooms, tables/desks, water potted plants, dusting, spot cleaning, outdoor patio cleaning, collect/remove trash, clean refrigerators/microwaves, sort linen, resupply clean linen, and restock linen closet as specified in the PWS.
  8. Shall provide on-call and over and above cleaning services as needed.
  9. Shall provide driving and loading/unloading assistance with deliveries of supplies, bottled water and newspapers.
  10. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
  11. Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
  12. Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).
  13. Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
  14. Assist with transporting OCN staff to and from badging appointment and Signing for badges as a UPC
  15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Environment

  • Work will be inside and outside. Exposure to cold, dust, noise, and chemicals may occur. Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs. Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions. Task specific work environment training will be provided as required. Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U. S. interests. 100% Overseas Assignment.
