Overview / Job Description
Safety Engineers work to ensure that all employees uphold the core value of safety by developing, implementing, administering and maintaining safety-related policies, procedures, and programs. Safety Engineers work closely with field staff, all levels of management, and personnel from external organizations during all phases of construction; commitment to developing positive professional relationships is required. This is a location-based position encompassing work-sites throughout the assigned project area in the Chattanooga, TN, and requires up to 70% travel within the area and will include some overnight stays.

Myers founded the company in Chicago with a vision of connecting villages and towns to major cities along railroad lines in the Midwest. L.E. Myers has completed hundreds of transmission and substation projects throughout the Midwest, East and Southeast ranging from 34.5kV through 765kV; and has experience installing a variety of structures ranging from 60’ wood poles up to 400’ steel lattice towers.
