The Member Services Representative provides administrative support to a team of Health Advisors within our PinnacleCare Comprehensive division who help our members navigate the complex health care system. This is a Monday-Friday 100% remote position; we are seeking a candidate that resides in the Central Time Zone.

What you will do:

  • Provide administrative support to a team of Health Advisors
  • Assist Health Advisors with providing high touch, customer service to our members
  • Collect, organize and maintain electronic medical records by interacting with hospitals, doctor office staff and research providers
  • Enter data into our database
  • Compile binders and order supplies
  • Assist with scheduling travel for Health Advisors
  • Schedule routine and advance medical appointments for our members
  • Develop and maintain service relationships with members, assisting with urgent health care related administrative requests
  • Assist with special projects

What you will need to succeed:

  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Possess strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent follow through and time management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Required Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative support role within a Clinical medical practice or Healthcare/Medical setting
  • Associates degree or relevant coursework
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment managing multiple priorities
  • Commitment to teamwork and a positive, adaptive approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

If you are a Colorado resident, the minimum starting salary for this position will be $32,500 annually.  Sun Life will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications and experience.  This position is also eligible for a broad range of competitive benefits including a choice of company-subsidized medical plans, consisting of network-based plans and plans offering the freedom to go to any provider and two company-subsidized dental plans.
