The Project Manager (Civil Engineering) provides strategic leadership and direction to the project team during the pre- construction planning, development and delivery phases of the project, ensuring leadership at all times for design development, construction delivery strategy, planning, administration, cost and time management for completeness and constructability, with absolute priority for the delivery of the highest safety and quality standards.

• Manages and ensure efficient and effective management of subcontractors, from subcontract kick-off until final settlement agreement
• Supervises the administrative and financial management of the project within the policy and rules established by the company
• Provides engineering discipline support to project teams and the company in general to attain company goals and objectives
• Manages relations and communication with the Client
• Ensures risk assessments with regard to contractual, commercial, financial and technical requirements of the contract are conducted and that necessary mitigation measures to address identified risks are established
• Ensures all resources (staffing, equipment, material, etc.) required for the successful completion of theproject are secured
• Implements an adequate management system for ensuring timely completion of the Project
• Controlling and monitoring of working budgets and realization
• Defines the structure of project team and control its composition
• Leads, instructs, and supervises the project team
• Ensure that HSE risk assessments are implemented and ensure compliance of operation with legal and industry Standards requirements
• Responsible for overall project performance and profitability

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Ten (10) years or more of relevant experience
• Excellent technical knowledge especially within civil engineering field
• Strong leadership skills – ability to manage and build teams effectively
• Results oriented and able to drive to technically sound decisions
• Exhibits an understanding of construction business, management of change requirements, project management processes, and construction workflow
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in MS Office and with a working knowledge of current version of AutoCAD
