Overview / Job Description

Staffing and Recruitment

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with departments by conducting intake sessions with hiring manager, communicating process steps, clarifying job requirements, setting process and procedural expectations.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Posts positions in HRIS, University Boards, etc.
  • Completes initial interview of candidates and sends qualified candidates on for review and consideration by the hiring manager from various channels (i.e. referral, direct, social, job fair, events, partnerships, etc.).
  • Tracks metrics and provide internal customers with data/updates as defined by leadership.
  • Assists in the planning, logistics and execution, of career-related events, job fairs and college recruitment.
  • Maintains an open, flexible, and innovative attitude related to ongoing process improvement and enhancement.
  • Participates in special projects/recruiting initiatives as needed.
  • Develops a strong understanding of industry trends and the impact to the recruitment process. Works with leadership to provide continuous improvement ideas and suggestions.
  • Works collaboratively with hiring managers, Human Resources staff, and others to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and State of Franklin Healthcare Associates policies and procedures.
  • Work with leadership to create/update job descriptions as needed.
  • Weekly reporting activities.
  • Perform reference checks as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date of recruiting trends and best practices.

Onboarding

  • Coordinates all pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinates and completes initial sign-up and on-boarding program for new hires on a weekly or more frequent basis if needed.
  • Assures accurate completion of I-9 forms with supporting documentation for new hires, processes information using e-Verify system and maintains I-9 forms/e-Verify records for active and terminated team members according to retention requirements.
  • Enters new hire information in appropriate systems.
  • Coordinates new hire orientation program by maintaining roster, ordering refreshments, lunch and other supplies; preparing materials and completing room setup for class.

Other

  • Responds to employment verification requests.
  • Completes monthly exclusion screening for team members, maintains records and notifies Human Resources Generalist of any exclusion findings.
  • Conducts exit interviews and provides appropriate separation information, prepares separation documents and obtains personnel file from manager then routes to payroll for final out-processing and retention.
  • Answer basic benefit questions as needed.
  • Compiles information and prepares reports.
  • Maintains records.
  • Participates in educational activities.
  • Follows organizational policies and procedures, including State of Franklin Healthcare Associates Compliance Manual, Code of Ethics and Business Standards, HR Policies and Procedures Manual, Team Member Handbook, OSHA Manual and any other policies or procedures for the job function, department, location or clinic.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business or other relevant discipline. Equivalent work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Experience

Two or more years of experience in Human Resources and/or staffing and recruitment.
