Support M&A evaluation across all of Spotify’s business units
Support development of Corporate Development strategic frameworks and toolkits depending on size / scale / complexity of opportunity
Work with other Corporate Development team members to frame strategic themes and their application to specific opportunities
Design, compile, analyze research, drawing across the breadth of third party work, external consultants, internal analysis. This work will cover industry landscape and dynamics, customer segments, competition etc.
Prepare presentations which translate the findings from research and analysis into effective presentation and discussion materials for relevant internal stakeholders
Work across global offices with distributed business unit teams
Collaborate with relevant external partners as applicable, manage deliverables
Who you are
Strong academic qualifications (MBA preferred)
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of work experience, including experience in corporate development, investment banking, or relevant private equity / venture capital investing, preferably in the technology and/or media sectors.
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including for valuation frameworks
Experience leading M&A execution, including legal considerations and process management
Strength and passion for business analysis, including developing and then proving out hypotheses in observed data / performance
Ability to customize and apply financial and strategic frameworks.
Ability to build clear, persuasive presentation materials, including written business narratives.

You will generate growth forecasts and drive improvements in user acquisition, engagement and long term growth by measuring and optimizing new channels, platforms, product features, and strategic marketing initiatives. Ultimately, you will empower the team to study user behavior, marketing strategies, markets, content, new features and bring data and insights into every decision we make.
Who you are
You have at least 5 years of experience with leading insights teams in quantitative and/or qualitative methods with experience managing managers
You have a background in Data Science and/or User Research with ability to instill a culture of rigor and excellence in mixed methods insights work
You have a passion and a vision for generating formative and evaluative insights in the intersection of marketing and product development
You have experience in running complex experiments at large scale and are able to move with speed without compromising the integrity of insights work
You deeply value and have experience with hiring, coaching and leading diverse and high-performing teams
You have a user and data-focused mentality.
You understand the role and importance of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and when to deploy them
You’re a fantastic communicator and can work cross-functionally with business stakeholders
