Job Title: Interprofessional Education Clinical Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

The Interprofessional Education (IPE) Specialist is responsible to assist in the implementation and execution of IPE initiatives, strategies and actions in line with the QU health vision and strategy for the development and enhancement of students’ learning experience and education at QU Health working alongside other healthcare programs in Qatar in Weill Cornel Medicine Qatar, University of Calgary Qatar and College of North Atlantic and update them when necessary.

Works in partnership with QU Health colleges and programs to assist in the implementation and execution of IPE initiatives, strategies and actions in clinical. work in partnership with the Office of IPE program to support in the development and implementation of IPE clinical placements. Actively create and facilitate opportunities for early exposure to the clinical environment for QU Health students during their experiential learning. Assist in grading student reflective IPE assignments as part of the student IPE clinical placement and grade student performance.

Qualifications

  • Master degree in Health related profession

The position is responsible building and maintaining an expert understanding of policy issues in one or more areas and is considered an expert by related external constituencies. Examples include education, health or other social areas. They work closely with their colleagues and external contacts to execute agendas for convening; author policy briefs, primers, case studies, and other publications; and assist in the research, design, implementation and evaluation of the units programs.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead agenda and curriculum development with support of the Department Head and colleagues
– Research and design program presentations and briefs
– Influence, design and execute agendas for policymaker convening’s, including identifying and preparing speakers, coordinating with partner organizations, developing materials, and managing project timelines.
– Write policy briefs, primers, case studies and other content that supports the information needs of the units audience and partners
– Conduct research and analysis needed to identify and disseminate relevant and reliable information for related policy audiences
– Synthesize information from a variety of sources into concise documents that reflect the current related policy context
– Serves as a subject matter expert on assigned policy areas
– Prepares and communicates timely analyses in meetings, presentations and in written documentation
– Contribute to and attend conferences and meetings, including meetings of national professional organizations, and related policy research organizations
– Participate in the evaluation of the units programs, outreach, and publications
– Support ongoing program improvement and/or redesign by developing methods to capture participant feedback, including interviews, surveys, and other activities
– Make recommendations for potential follow-up up activities for policymakers

Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
