Overview / Job Description

Phreesia Life Sciences is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our rapidly growing Demand Generation team. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading our paid, earned and organic social media strategy to increase awareness of our brand, reinforce Phreesia Life Sciences’ leading position in our industry and drive demand for our products. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and compelling storyteller with demonstrated experience creating and executing data-driven social media campaigns. This role is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented social expert with a strong understanding of the life sciences B2B social media landscape who wants to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.

What you’ll do: 

  • Own strategy, management and content creation for Phreesia Life Sciences’ social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter

  • Own the development and execution of our social media calendar

  • Execute multiple, simultaneous paid and organic campaigns

  • Identify earned social media opportunities, including with our clients and other entities

  • Identify creative opportunities to amplify our brand on social media, including by sharing client stories, engaging thought leadership content and industry news

  • Differentiate content and tone based on channel and target audience

  • Align the social media strategy with the overall goals of the Demand Generation team and the broader organization

  • Identify metrics and benchmarks for social performance, report KPIs out to team leadership, and use those insights to adjust live campaigns and plan for future ones

  • Work closely with the Creative team to leverage engaging images, graphics, videos and other visual assets to drive traffic and engagement

  • Collaborate with our paid social team to support campaigns, track and test performance, and achieve the best possible ROI

  • Use our social media channels to test new messaging and positioning

  • Own our social media management tools and vendor relationships, including for social listening and content management

  • Stay up to date on best and evolving social media practices for healthcare technology and B2B SaaS companies

  • Ensure adherence to grammar, syntax, and company style and voice

What you’ll bring:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in social media management and strategy

  • Exceptional writing and organizational skills and an eye for visual assets that work best on social

  • Familiarity with the U.S healthcare system and the life sciences industry and the trends that shape them

  • Experience managing social media for a life sciences company or agency

  • Deep expertise in organic, earned and paid social media tactics

  • Demonstrated experience distilling complex topics into simple, engaging and impactful copy

  • Flexibility, reliability and meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfort working in a change-oriented, measurement-driven organization

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated track record of planning and executing campaigns that build awareness and lead to conversion

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
