Located in South Surrey, PCB Freight is a provider of third party logistics services for individuals and businesses looking to move freight domestically and internationally. We find space on third-party carriers for our clients – whether that’s by ground, ocean or air- and coordinate the shipment on their behalf. If it involves the movement of freight, we’re the go-to experts.

As demand continues to grow for our services, we are looking to add a full-time Logistics Administrative Support person to our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with Customer Service Representative (CSR) experience to apply their service skills into a long-term career. With time, experience and certification, this position would ideally start your journey to becoming a Ground Freight Coordinator.

This position reports to the office full-time (40 hours) for five days a week (Monday to Friday).

We’re located at the US/Canada border crossing (176th Street and 1st Avenue) in South Surrey/White Rock. There’s no public transportation to our office so you must have a vehicle to get here.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Regular office support activities including assisting logistics personnel, liaising with external vendors and clients, and managing files
  • Populating data including input and invoicing
  • Assisting with customer/client service on the phone/email or in person with existing or new clients
  • Tracking and tracing ground shipments
  • Monitoring and status updates

Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a CSR or Administrative role
  • Knowledge of US, Canadian, and Cross-Border carriers is an asset
  • Able to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and client communication skills
  • Able to work at a fast pace
  • Computer skills in Word and Excel
  • Detail-oriented, diligent, responsible, and conscientious person who takes pride in their work
  • Hardworking, efficient, organized and proactive
  • Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to attention to detail in all work.
