ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of our Junior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture and system design from the early-stage rapid prototyping through to full company release and continuous improvement after the initial roll-out. If you enjoy moving at a fast pace, shipping software that improves the user experience, and constantly improving your work, you are the right asset for our team!
Collaborate with software engineering teams to provide continuous build, integration, delivery, testing, and release engineering and work with project teams on major infrastructure overhauls and upgrades in the cloud.
Developing and streamlining automated infrastructure using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Terraform or other infrastructure as code products.
Working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system;
Monitor and support all installed systems and infrastructure with tools like Elastic, Prometheus, APM tools
Evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with the help of developers.
Stay up to date on all current and future AWS/Azure services and tools and provide guidance and evangelism on how best to make use of cloud infrastructure to support company growth.
Participating in on-call rotation.

You are an Engineer to the core; operations and infrastructure challenges are solved with software and automation. You have exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. You are also insanely focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving, breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items.
Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience with – Infrastructure as Code, configuration management and infrastructure testing strategies
Strong experience in container orchestration like kubernetes or hashicorp nomad
Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices;
Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production;
Solid experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments;
BS degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or another related area;
Excellent knowledge of networking technologies, particularly with network layers and TCP/IP

ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of our People Business Partner is to manage full entertainment and platform development projects, working closely with the business team and Group management, engineers, finance, third parties/vendors and other stakeholders to ensure the development of milestones and schedules for the many moving parts that need to come together.
Other key responsibilities include:
Gather requirements and define the scope of the project. Manage resource allocation for projects
Develop a plan and schedule, with well-defined milestones
Act as liaison, problem solver, and facilitator
Manage the communication of progress to senior management as well as core internal and external stakeholders and escalating issues as necessary
Develop project documentation and reporting for senior executives and other key stakeholders to facilitate sharing of project outcomes and best practices
Setting up gate documents, project timing and budget with help of existing Project Management standards, methods and tools
Building project teams, defining project roles & responsibilities, securing resources and leading them to performance
Anticipating and managing risks and, if necessary, securing escalation
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Regular reporting of project status to functional Lead in headquarters and close collaboration with steering committee members
Meet with clients whenever required to take detailed project scope details and clarify specific requirements of each project development cycle
Close projects with appropriate closure processes
Contribute to continued improvement in the PMO

Other qualifications include:
Bachelor or master’s degree (preferably in computer science and/or engineering) or equivalent
At least 5 years proven working experience in leading cross functional projects, preferably in an international environment and in the mobile/web technology sector
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Experience working with Telcos or in a SaaS company managing virtual teams is a plus
Ideally working knowledge of agile methodology
Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of both business as well as technology stakeholder requirements
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
Working knowledge of issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) is a plus
Preferably PMI certificate or equivalent certification
High proficiency in written and spoken English and German, other languages advantageous
