About the Team The Office Platform team plays a central role in the Microsoft 365 developer story. We are responsible for the platform that allows developers (both first- and third-party) to integrate with and extend Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook across Windows, Mac, Office Online, iOS, and Android. We also partner closely with teams across Office 365 to deliver a cohesive platform story for all Office developers. In addition to that foundational platform work, we also build innovative end user solutions which are anchored in that platform, including end user automation with Office Scripts, advanced data science capabilities for Excel, and integrating our newest collaboration platform, Loops, into some of the most widely used applications on the planet.
