KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledgeable of weights, measures and various cooking techniques
Knowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares
Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of experience as a Cook in a fast paced, high-volume restaurant
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
Two (2) years of experience in a similar resort setting

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To maintain entire restaurant dining room, storerooms, food pick up areas and beverage stations according to established cleanliness and stock standard and deliver guest food in a professional and timely manner.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains food and beverage stations in a clean and orderly manner
Delivers guests order to dining and to-go guests
Ensures guests have a positive dining experience by actively asking questions
Cleans and sanitizes all equipment
Keeps all floors free of debris and spills
Sweeps and mops floors
Maintains par stock levels in all beverage stations
Cleans and sanitizes all tables and chairs
Retrieves orders from the warehouse and stock storeroom
Assists with proper stock rotation
Performs other duties as required or assigned by management
