MasterCard UAE Jobs Description/Overview

Work with the region on the development of NPP specific country GTM plans through analysing data and insights, coordinating with product and cross-functional teams for validation and articulates to our regional stakeholders. Plans cover all NPP solutions including Infrastructure (including IPS, MAPS and BPS), Applications (including PBA, Send, Cross Border & BillPay) and NPP related services.

– Continuous evaluation of the sales process and engagement model to deliver improvements

– Bespoke sales enablement support for the region developing collateral, tools & templates for preliminary market assessment to identify opportunities

– Partners with Mastercard centralised teams, such as Learning & Development and Sales Excellence to coordinate regional NPP education initiatives for regional sales teams.

– Framework of new Sales Incentives rolled out with Sales Excellence (ESPs/ accelerator incentives) and wins being recognised already

Relationship Management

– Interface internally and externally with key stakeholders in AP and help in streamlining communications with key stakeholders in global to drive NPP sales.
– Act as a cross-company orchestrator for NPP sales opportunities, required to build trusted relationships (virtually) with cross functional teams, including but not limited to Finance, Sales, Account Management and O&T.
– Work with key decision makers to influence and enforce new processes and/ or emerging product opportunities
– Enhance ongoing regional relationships with our business development stakeholders and leadership via facilitating quarterly and monthly sales reviews, recurring meetings with cross-functional stakeholders for example.
– Working directly with the NPP global product teams to communicate new opportunities, feedback and determine when new solutions are ready to be supported by COE

Strategy & Governance

– Project Beyond: Develop, implement, track and manage sales targets annually and identify new opportunities across NPP to achieve regional goals
– Support broader ongoing performance reporting across NPP (CEO report, Monthly Sales Excellence Report to RPs)
– Key stakeholder in global NPP strategy execution initiatives and M&A activity that requires regional operationalising (multi-rail execution and narratives, apps acceleration, MPS integration)
– Bring in global learnings and case studies which can be borrowed/replicated in other regions
– Develops and maintains financial modelling and business cases for development opportunities
– Continuous evaluation of the sales process and engagement model to suggest improvements


– Proven experience of payments across ecommerce, and/or global transaction banking, ACH/Real Time Payments working directly or indirectly with customers.
– Commercial and financial acumen, analytical skills needed to build and articulate business/ revenue models to all seniority levels.
– Proven experience of effective relationship management, both internal and external.
– Experience in commercial, sales, consulting environments, including supporting the execution of sales-related activities. Ideally experience in developing strategic plans and go to market strategies.
– Ability to communicate and influence at senior levels across key industry players, such as Regulators, Government bodies and transaction Banks.
– Expertise in communication, both internal and external, strong interpersonal skills
– Autonomous self-starter and delivery focused in fast paced environments, actively collaborative, able and willing to share best practice
– Strong stakeholder management skills. Ability to build meaningful and trusting work relationships with global multi-cultural teams and to lead remote project teams
– Good market analysis and project management skills
