Overview / Job Description

Plays a key role in administering HR services and support to managers, employees, HR and Talent Partners. Coordinates and administers a variety of programs and activities covering the full spectrum of HR support and employee life cycle programs. Including but not limited to: on-boarding, training and development, employee engagement, employee relations, HR reporting and data management. Liaises with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure applicability of policies, initiatives, programs and compliance with HR protocols.

Essential Functions

  • Provide support to HR team members across the scope of the employee lifecycle.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR related services and topics.
  • Deal with initial inquiries from external agencies and partners.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support needs to organize, prepare and administer job requisitions.
  • Support the employee on-boarding process and programs where appropriate.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support employee off-boarding processes.
  • Deliver training on internal processes, systems and policies when required while ensuring appropriate materials and training is available.
  • Provide reports for managers and HRBPs covering a broad range of HR related data.
  • Manage purchase orders, invoice reconciliation and payment for HR service providers.
  • Manage contractor administration by maintaining accurate approvals, records of start/finish dates and contracts.
  • Training & development – works closely with the Learning & Development COE and support as needed.  May include coordination of courses, programs, participants and logistics.
  • Support annual HR processes such as performance reviews, mid-year market adjustment requests, job evaluations, talent reviews and employee engagement surveys.
  • Works with COE’s to develop improvements and ensure the integrity of the HRIS data records and information.
  • Support special projects for the Human Resources department.
  • Maintain and upload employee and HR data as required.
  • Manage HR reporting, ad hoc requests and maintenance of org charts.
  • Provide support to managers and employees with consistent and accurate policy information.
  • Support disciplinary and performance management issues when needed.
  • Promote a culture of positive employee relations while proactively working to ensure it is maintained.

Minimum Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience:

  • 2 to 5+ years’ of experience in an HR administration, coordinator and/or generalist role, preferably in a multi-national organization
  • Project work experience as a team member or leader
  • A base line knowledge of US employment and HR practices
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with HRIS/ATS administration and reporting (Workday preferred)

Organizational Relationship/Scope:

  • This position is based in the Hampton New Jersey Area
  • Office based Hybrid working role with occasional travel (5%)
  • Works closely with the functional HR Business Partners as well as corporate HR colleagues (Compensation and Benefits, HR Operations, Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition etc.)
  • No direct reports – this is an individual contributor role
