Role Purpose:
The General Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the store teams, providing managerial direction and motivation for result focused delivery.
Responsible for Retail Store Standards to be at the highest level and to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of store operations that provides the
customer with an ‘outstanding’ shopping experience.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Establish the highest store operations standards, practices and processes to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
Ensure the highest standards of Visual Merchandising are consistently achieved across the brand, in line with the VM principles and guidelines for the brand.
Ensure that all events are fully maximized in relation to sales, stock and brand building, in conjunction with Marketing and the Merchandising and Planning teams
Ensure that each store has a stock trading layout in line with the Brands guidelines.
Delivery of timely new store openings in conjunction with the RDD Team, from feasibility to store opening, establishing the highest caliber of store team, best
Achieve sales targets through a pro-active commercial agenda, developing and planning new business initiatives that drive overall sales and business improvement.
Analyze business reports and provide the direction for corrective action where required.
Provide critical analytical feedback on store performance at the weekly / monthly trade reviews together with the Brand Director.
In conjunction with Planning and Buying teams, analyze each individual store performance in relation to sales / space / sales mix and density.
Maintain commercial layouts in each store, flexing according to seasons.
Ensure that the territories inventory is in the right place, at the right time, in the right
Guide the Store Managers to ensure the key priority targets and goals in customer service are consistently achieved.
Ensure that each store has the correct resource model in place, exceeding the needs of the customer (right people / right place / right time / doing the right thing), whilst also meeting the business productivity targets.
Ensure that each store takes complete ownership for the successful resolution of customer complaints.
Coach and develop the right people skills in the team to deliver the required behaviors and approaches to customer service.
Support in promoting sustainability initiatives to transform the lives of the retail standards and operational processes and practices.
Monitor, measure and evaluate the contribution of new / refurbished stores against their Capex requirement. volume to maximize sales and minimize markdown and terminal stocks.

Role Purpose:
Ensure the delivery of request on a timely manner and carefully coordinate the day-to-day administration task & transactions entered into the Government Relations.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Direct point of contact on all queries on DNRD, MOL, EID concerning MAFP employee’s visas, labor cards & contracts & Emirates ID and registration with the Pension Fund of the UAE & GCC National employees

    • Monitoring, coordinate, organize and remind all MAFP employees and new joiners on their visa, labor card and EID issuance and expiration date, including respective family and other household members.
    • Coordinate and organize the application of Government formalities for employees including the visa request of MAF companies outside UAE.
    • Manage, organize and safekeeping of Employee’s passport.
    • First point of contact for MAFP employees concerning visa requirements other country’s embassy and consulates on company’s executives’ business trips.
    • Assist in implementing new rules set by DNRD, MOL & EID as well as organizing the department’s policies and procedures.
    • Issue NOC letters to employees for various purposes as required.
    • Generates list of staff with expiration due date within 2 months & advised each employee to submit documents required for visa renewal & follow up continuously till the end. Issue photocopies of passports after visas have been stamped to relevant HC/Dept.
    • Update HC with current rules and changes in processes or procedures if any & respond on any other GR related queries.
  • GR related Administration:
  • Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally to assist and enable the GR department’s effective function and efficient service to fully deliver the request.
  • Maintaining the department online application system
  • File Management of department systems shared folder data base as well as physical file management.
  • Set and organize a smooth flow of document for proper tracking of all requests and document handling of the department.
  • Equally distribute and assign task to concern GR officer, ensure accurate documentation and workflow process for submitted applications.
  • Preparation of Government Relations report on quarterly basis.
