Overview / Job Description
On our path to becoming the world’s favorite way to shop, we’re assembling an unparalleled global talent network, accelerating individual careers, and disrupting entire industries. We are on a mission to liberate humanity from all the meaningless time spent managing their purchases and finances, so they can do more of what they love. We’re in search of global talent eager to embrace a hypergrowth atmosphere and defy their own expectations.
As an Executive Assistant at Klarna, you will be responsible for anticipating, prioritizing, and organizing all correspondence and activities with clients, partners, internals, C-suites, investors, and beyond. You will be managing administrative tasks within the Go-To-Market and Business Development teams that include an array of cross-company collaborations, external deal-making, and domain development.
A normal EA job description would tell you the basics. You will be responsible for inbox management, coordinating calendar and extensive travel schedule, planning and scheduling events, expenses, action-taking, and agenda planning. You will be doing that….but not just that. We want you to thrive and make a difference. We want you to understand our complex and rapidly changing organization, then add business value by bringing your voice to the table, asking hard questions, and giving insights where others may have missed something. You’ll anticipate needs, solve problems, and help us build and deliver amazing products and solutions. Where others see trees, you see an entire forest.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be involved in one-off projects and initiatives – generally, you should be ready to contribute across the business and provide structure and organization wherever possible.
Who You Are:
Probably the most adaptable person in the company you’re at now, you need more challenges to fuel the fire. You’re reliable, accountable, resourceful, work best independently but are a natural leader and collaborator. You don’t forget anything. You remember everything. You have a passion for your work, the people you support, and are always looking to do things more efficiently. You sort out complex tasks with ease; even if you don’t know something, you always know who can fix it. You’re everyone’s confidant who knows when to listen and knows when to solve.
You Should Have:
What we offer:
Diversity & Community With our diversity of skills, perspectives and backgrounds, we can create, innovate, and disrupt like no other. Diversity is part of who we are, and essential to our success.
Ownership & Impact Here, every voice matters. We’re organized into hundreds of small teams, each run like a start-up, focused on their own problem-space.
Trust & Collaboration
Successes and failures are won together at Klarna in a melting pot of teams. Win, lose, and learn, we’re on this path together.
The Klarna Work Policy is designed to make sure we foster team collaboration while also ensuring a productive and flexible work environment. We work 2 days per week in the office on agreed days, and then 3 flexible days. We’re also providing each Klarnaut with an annual financial contribution to improve their flexible work life whether they use it to upgrade their work accessories, or their home office space!
Challenges & Rewards We take a very Swedish approach to benefits. Support for parents, health and wellness perks—we’ve got you covered.
