We are looking for a Travel & events planner to join our Dubai team! Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE
Visa sponsorship & health Insurance provided
Responsibilities:
Work with clients to determine their travel needs and advise them on the appropriate destination
Identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each travel experience and prepare itineraries and packages.
Provide relevant information, brochures and itineraries to travelers
Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees
Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
Maintain client information and financial records
Network with tour operators
Manage destination events including conferences and retreats.
Stay up to date with the latest travel trends and incorporate them into future experiences for clients
Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event or travel planning process to ensure everything is in order.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Travel Agent or within the travel industry
Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is a plus
Personal travel experience will be considered a a plus
