• Job Title: Junior Specialist Division: Food and Beverage Country: UNITED ARAB EMIRATES Work Location: UAE (RAK head office) Job Type: Junior Specialist – F&B Employment Type: Full Time Employment (Un-limited Contract) Job Description: Purpose: The Waiter/Junior Specialist will be responsible to take orders and deliver food and beverages to the customers. He/she will ensure the quality of food and overall guest experience is excellent. Key responsibilities & Accountability: • Prepares tables for meals including the complete set up. • Performs light food preparation duties including bread, salad preparation, and dessert preparation. • Serves food and beverages to guests. • Clears and cleans tables promptly according to proper sanitation standards. • Completes everyday duty as required including, polishing silverware, cafeteria set up, filling condiments, and cleaning the cafeteria vicinity. • Provides good customer service and perform other duties assign by the supervisor. Qualifications: – Education • Diploma Holder. – Experience: • One (1) to two (2) year experience in Hospitality Industry. – Training: • Certificate on Basic Food Hygiene Training Key Competencies: • Skilled in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel) & Internet. • Have good communication skills. • Perform general physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials. • Able to stand for long periods of time and able to carry trays filled with dishes and drinks. Technical Competencies:

The role holder is responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner as well as control and supervise overall Production department. Monitor the ongoing Production material quality, analysis of the performance of the Production line in the shop floor The role holder is responsible for replication of various projects and procedures across units. Preparing and completing action plans; implementing forecast accuracy; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change and should have strong command on all the working principles, knowledge on trouble shooting and maintenance activities. The Manager must be high on process compliance, having strong eye for process details.

Key responsibilities & Accountability:

•  The role holder is responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner.
•  Ensure Safety measures and cGMP principles are being followed.
•  Supervises the overall activities in the assigned area of responsibility and production related equipment’s track Maintenance schedules
• Seek to improve all aspects of the current processes by reviewing current methodology, provide information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
•  Preparing and completing action plans; implementing forecast accuracy; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change and should have strong command on all the working principles, knowledge on trouble shooting and maintenance activities.
•  Planning, implementation, and supervising shop floor activities in production department
•  Ensures the standards of hygiene and quality are maintained in the department.
•  Verifies and approves the batch Production documents.
•  Responsible for preparation, execution and aftercare of Improvement Projects OEE implementations within the assigned work area.
•  Optimum utilization of resources, upkeep quality to reduce the market complaints, controls productivity level & gets maximum output with required man power utilization.
•  Writes, implements, and ensure compliance of SOP’s.
•  Planning daily/weekly/monthly plans, organizing, control, coordinating the activities related to the plant.
•  Present monthly planning and achievements to Head of the Department with the challenges
•  QMS – Handling of deviations, Change controls, OOS & OOT Investigations.
•  Audit preparation and handle internal and external auditors to fulfill the requirements
•  Knowledge on New equipment qualifications and validation for commercial use
•  Maintain good relation with the CFTs related to raw/packing material, Engineering, warehouse, and Quality to ensure continuous operations.
•  Monitor monthly performance and function KPIs to ensure the organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and compliance are met. People Interact & Support
•  Identifying training needs of subordinates and evaluating the training outcomes in coordination with the concerned employees in the HR and Admin Department
•  Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices at the company.

Qualifications:

•  Education
•  4 years Bachelor degree in Pharmacy /Science
•  Masters’ degree in Industrial Pharmacy is highly preferred

Experience:

•  At least 8-10+ years’ experience in similar organization in Pharmaceuticals / Health care / Medical Industry.

  Technical Competencies:
•  Fluent in English & Arabic is a plus • Strong knowledge in GMP Principles with Excellent operational service (efficient, effective and qualitative), turnaround, and continuous improvement (LEAN, Value chain, QRM, Pareato, Fish bone, 5 Why’s etc, etc.).
•  Strong Knowledge with SOP writing, MFM , GMP compliance & creating Production plans and organizing Production schedules
