Grifols USA Hospital Division provides advanced solutions and cutting-edge technologies to enhance safety and efficacy in the hospital pharmacy, throughout the drug compounding process. Our products, capital equipment, software and devices are uniquely designed to improve institutional compliance with guidelines and regulations, in order to ensure high standards of quality and safety for both the pharmacy staff, and the patients served.

As a Pharmacy Solutions Sales Representative, you will be the point of contact for all of the Hospital Division’s products – driving sales, engaging with current customers, prospecting new accounts and promoting our portfolio of pharmacy solutions in various hospitals and outpatient centers throughout your region.



Primary Responsibilities for role:

  • Increase market share through prospecting, setting appointments, cultivating relationships, discovering business and clinical needs, presenting and providing solution demonstrations, overcoming obstacles, and developing proposals/contracts.
  • Will be responsible for both new business revenue and current customer renewal business within the designated territory.
  • Will assist in post-sales implementation support, if needed.
  • Interface with prospective customers and existing customers to effectively map Grifols solutions to market needs within assigned territory.
  • Drive revenue growth within the assigned territory by meeting with and managing the relationships with key decision makers and those who influence decisions at hospitals and outpatient facilities.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet established sales goals.
  • Consistently improve working knowledge of the compounding pharmacy, our product applications and competitive products
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for territory management.
  • Collaborate with non-sales team members to ensure optimal client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager




A Bachelor’s degree is required, a concentration in business, science or healthcare is strong preferred.




Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare solutions sales experience, preferably managing complex sales. Pharmacy solutions sales, Electronic Healthcare Records Software sales, healthcare IT sales, medical device sales, or capital equipment sales is highly preferred.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Healthcare industry knowledge, preferably with focus on pharmacy, medication delivery workflow and/or Healthcare Information Technology
  • Must be proactive and have demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives
  • Must possess strong business acumen, along with the personal characteristics of professionalism, commitment to excellence, detail orientation and accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines within a large geographical area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels and manage relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including effective presentation skills
  • Experience negotiating contract terms and conditions.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
