Overview / Job Description

We’re currently seeking an Enterprise application Lead to join the Wireless ERP Team at Shaw. This is a key leadership position with excellent growth opportunities. This position requires to lead support requests to maintain application at the expected level, including problem analysis, resolution and escalation. They should have the ability to understand finance revenue recognition and translation business requirements to functional configurations by offering technical solutions. The successful candidate will be required to monitor critical or recurring problems that have a significant impact and ensure full and final resolution of these problems.

A typical day

• Ensuring the Bill run load to Aptitude is successful and support month end issues
• Understanding users requirements for new processes and assess the impacts of those to IFRS systems, Develop solution for requirements evolved from Business
• Analyze testing needs associated with any change that affects the billing system and in turn the revenue recognition
• Review dependencies with other systems that are feeding information to IFRS15 system
• Reconcile inbound and outbound entries to IFRS system and identify anomalies or errors
• Design and build new reports, queries for the reporting requirement in IFRS and explain existing reports to stakeholders
• Understand the complete flow of bill cycles for prepaid and post paid bill runs with new rate plans, amortization and contracts
• Co-ordinate with Billing systems team, TIDAL Team, Environment management and infra team
• Lead assessments for new initiatives, enabling the validation of recommendations with rough order of magnitude (ROM) effort, duration and estimates for strategic alignment, delivery feasibility, capacity to change, budget limits and schedules, etc
• Support the user when performing acceptance testing and track problems –
• Collaborate with other functional teams and other team members to validate solution architectures, technical designs, system deployments and support documentation covering all architecture, design and operational aspects (e.g. integration, reporting & analytics, security and regulatory compliance, support and maintenance etc.).
• Work with application, security, infrastructure and other operational support teams, as well as project teams to resolve technical design, implementation or operational technology issues
• Engage with vendor, third party, and other industry experts to stay aware of ERP vendor roadmaps, functional capabilities, and lessons learned & lead ERP presentations to various audiences including Shaw technical and business leadership.
• Utilize LEAN and Agile methodologies to streamline work processes and realize cost and resource efficiencies
• Perform post-implementation support
• Take on various other duties as required.
• Understanding of Lease accounting and Lease management (preferably CoStar) and their entries / integration flow to ERP

Your skills/experience

• Knowledge of finance systems, revenue management systems and Point of Sales
• Good knowledge of the following system is preferred
• Aptitude ARRE or any other revenue recognition applications such as Oracle Revenue Cloud management system
• Advance SQL knowledge to run queries
• Basic Understanding of TIDAL Jobs
• Hands on experience implementing any of aforementioned systems/applications
• IFRS15 and IFRS 16 hands on experience – assisting Business users in their queries
• Good accounting knowledge to communicate with Accounts team
• Ability to meet Project timelines and work effectively on Multiple Tasks in a dynamic
• Reports generation using some tool with IFRS
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills
• Loading data from secondary system to feed in IFRS and identify issues
