Job Summary

  • Accountable for managing multiple projects and engineering teams together with Junior Project Technician and Project Technician
  • Provide strong leadership and actively promote knowledge sharing and engineering trainings/development for project team

Brief DescriptionBased in Qatar – 3 month contractWe are urgently seeking candidates for various roles (Heads, Specialists, and Officers) under Hayya Tiered Support. Tiered Support is responsible for a wide array of support activities for the at the assigned physical Hayya service centres slated to commence operations across the country during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 period. This position will support the Hayya Mobile and Web Portal Application Software product and service. Applicants must be able to join immediately before October 1st.Key Responsibilities
Monitor support operations at assigned location
• Assist floor counter tellers if and when requested with system backend
• Assist floor B2B client liaison officers where necessary
• Log, track and update all reported issues
• Liaise with co-located technical partners support teams if and when necessary for solutions e.g. systems down, interruption of service etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Venue Planning / Preparation

  • Assist with the delivery of bump-in, re-supply, and bump-out operations of your venue

Venue Accreditation Coordinator

FIFA and the Qatar LOC (FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 LLC) have created a new Joint Venture, which will be responsible for the operational delivery of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

The Venue Accreditation Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the setup, operation and dismantling of the relevant Accreditation Centre for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. Their responsibilities will also include supporting the relevant Venue Accreditation Manager with other operational tasks, such as accreditation consumables stock management, volunteers training and supervision, reporting needs etc.

The Venue Accreditation Coordinator will report to the relevant Venue Accreditation Manager and the Q22 Accreditation Operations Manager, and will also work closely with other Q22 and FIFA Accreditation team members

PRE-TOURNAMENT TIME

  • Assist with the supervision and provision of adequate training to a team of volunteers.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments, alongside the Venue Accreditation Manager, to assure the delivery of a fully equipped Accreditation Centre per requirements set forth by FIFA i.e. overlay, technology, power, lighting, FF&E, signage and dressing etc.
  • Coordinate with and support the Access Management Department regarding accreditation access control, including access control system testing.
  • Responsibilities of this role will evolve during the lifespan of the project, and it is likely that the role profile will evolve with the changing needs of the tournament.

TOURNAMENT TIME

  • Assist in all operations of the relevant Accreditation Centre(s), including but not limited to, pass production and distribution, assisting in the supervision of all Accreditation volunteers onsite, and supporting issue resolution and troubleshooting activities in coordination with the FIFA and Q22 Accreditation Constituent Group Management teams, Access Management and Security, as needed.
  • Assist in managing and supervising the rosters of the Accreditation volunteers shifted at the Accreditation Centre(s).
  • Liaise with the relevant individuals from Access Management and Security for issue resolution.
  • Assist in the management of accreditation consumables stock management/control and coordinate with the Accreditation Operations Team to replenish stock, as required.
  • Coordinate with members of the wider Accreditation Operations Team for any reporting needs, escalation of issues etc.
  • Liaise with all members of the venue team(s), supporting the Venue Accreditation Manager to disseminate and clarify key information regarding the implementation of accreditation operations, policies and procedures, and to ensure seamless client services and efficient operations onsite.
  • Coordinate with the Workforce/Volunteers department in all matters related to the Accreditation volunteers (shifts, attendance, training etc)

Qualifications

  • University degree in appropriate subject or adequate training/vocational education.

Experience:

  • Experience in the international sporting events industry, preferably within the Accreditation sector. Experience in FIFA events is an asset.

GOP Stadium VIP Lounge Manager

  • Representing FIFA/Q22 Guest Management in the V/VIP Stadium Hospitality Lounges
  • Acting as the perfect host, the V/VIP Lounge Manager shall meet clients’ expectations, anticipate their needs, and ensure a unique and memorable experience is offered to all guests
  • Managing the hospitality and entertainment suppliers’ task & deliverables (i.e. service implementation, quality insurance)
