We are looking for an Account Supervisor who will be a guru in the consumer and enterprise tech spaces (B2C and B2B). You will have the opportunity to develop and drive integrated plans for some of today’s hottest brands in technology. In addition to deep Tech work, we’re also looking for a team player who can drive creative and inventive campaigns for Edelman clients across Finance, Healthcare, Automotive, Mobility, Food & Bev and Sciences with unique tech stories.

A little more about what you’ll do: 

    • Demonstrate writing excellence when crafting internal and client materials and correspondence, as well as an understanding of how to write for different channels (social, earned, paid)
    • Play a pivotal role spearheading key thought leadership and executive visibility initiatives for Fortune 500 and tech startup companies
    • Work closely with the team to create and execute integrated business marketing programs inclusive of paid digital marketing, earned media, owned content and social media strategies
    • Oversee financial and operational performance of multiple accounts simultaneously, ensuring quality work, deadline and budget adherence
    • Serve as daily client contact and act as client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
    • Use relationships with media, third-party influencers and internal partners to meet client needs
    • Supervise staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable and conducting their reviews
    • Introduce clients to new capabilities, initiate new business process and display strong presentation skills during client pitches

About you:

    • Have at least four years’ full-time experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting
    • Have experience with both consumer tech and B2B technology clients
    • Think like a journalist; you know what makes a good story – and what doesn’t
    • Have a proven media savvy with relationships across local and national news, including TV bookers, national business publications, key technology blogs and relevant trade magazines
    • Are a ‘Swiss army knife’ with experience on integrated accounts; you understand how to tell stories across different channels and can drive projects across earned, owned, social, paid, etc. as well as different verticals (SaaS, consumer tech, blockchain, B2B technology)
    • Provide sound, level-appropriate media counsel with all levels of client contacts
    • Have experience driving thought leadership programming on behalf of brands and executives through earned and social tactics
    • Understand the role project management plays in the overall function of an account and have experience managing budgets, project timelines and staff resourcing to achieve client goals
    • Have written strategic media plans and a variety of media materials with limited oversight
    • Demonstrate strong management and leadership skills

Basic Qualifications

 

  • At least six years of relevant experience in digital marketing and/or related fields
  • Self-starter with a strong ability to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit within the context of an evolving environment
  • Experience developing and managing multi-million-dollar ad campaigns
  • The ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience developing customized analytics reporting and knowledge of 3rd party tracking and ad serving technology
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the entire online marketing ecosystem
  • Experience managing conversion, lead generation and direct-response campaigns
    • Client service background with strong oral communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage and motivate junior staff

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Self-starter with a strong ability to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit within the context of an evolving environment

  • Understanding of the role that PR and social media play in the overall communications marketing mix
