Overview / Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Engineering Operations

1) Direct the team in charge of preparation of all process feasibility studies and conceptual designs, provide advice and direction during the design work. Ensure that all necessary input from process team related to data, information and design support is provided to operation. Review and approve all completed designs prior to their release inclusive of cost estimates and scope of work. Liaise with other engineering staff to provide technical advice on queries and/or provide additional support as required.

2) Receive and approve a variety of process modification requests and manage the provision of required engineering input for their implementation. Review process modification requests to assess their technical content and the problems/recommendation highlighted therein.

3) Manage the setting of specifications and ensure designs/modifications are cost effective and compatible with requirements. Ensure adherence of design to International Codes and Standards, Dolphin Dolphin Energy , and HSE&S requirements. Carry out technical evaluation of consultants/contractors/vendors bids and recommend a successful bidder.

4) Take the full responsibility and ownership of DEL GS relevant codes related to process and being the technical authority in the company for all process related matters and provide expert technical advice on process engineering matters to the Operations and Projects divisions, as and when requested. And recommend means of increasing productivity, safety, integrity, reducing costs etc whenever possible to provide maximum benefit to Company.

5) Manage the execution of all multidisciplinary development studies (in-house or contracted) at preliminary level, conceptual stage, and pre-FEED stage for minor and major projects. Manage preparation of business cases and management endorsement. Ensure Process Engineering team participation in the performance test and review of the test results of the Upstream projects to ensure the project objectives are fulfilled.

6) Provide effective guidance to the concerned department/engineers in site modification process (PTW, ICSS,SOW) through being consulted on method statement, task risk assessment, defining and approval of SOW for fully automation system related PIPs. Interact with the Operations team and provide technically sound solutions to resolve the problems and advise them on optimization of process parameters to ensure smooth operation of the plant.

7) Manage and overseen the execution of projects from feasibility studies, FEED stage, detailed engineering, construction, and commissions, either by utilizing the local resources and/or using outside contractors and consultants. Guide Engineering Contractors to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and meeting the required standards and specifications. And ensure that the process engineering team is timely reviewing and approving the project deliverables to avoid any delay in project implementation. 8) Manage and guide specialized materials, catalysts, and chemicals qualification for contract/bids. Ensure preparation of Scope of Work for tendering of catalysts and chemicals, technical bid evaluation and necessary support to concerned disciplines for materials purchase. 9) Lead and contribute towards HAZOP reviews, project safety reviews, technical audits, and value engineering during various phases of project implementation. Review the punch items and ensure that they are addressed, implemented, and closed to meet the project requirements.

10) Track and communicate results and create an environment for accountability for results and actions and assist in promoting the implementation of best practices.

11) Manage the update of process documents, P&IDs, operating procedure, and manual including start-up and shutdown procedures following the implementation of the modification projects in compliance to Dolphin Energy. 3 of 5 Senior Manager Process Engineering JD Management of Change (MOFC) Process

12) As a member of MOFC review committee member, effectively execute MOFC process for Engineering Service Request (acceptance of ESRs and initiation of Facility Modification Proposal -FMP-) for multidiscipline study, Design Change Requests (DCN) and PIP (Project Implementation Phase) for multidiscipline projects. 13) Manage and control the schedule as per approved plan and direct the team to develop and achieve their own plans with no delay to complete the ESR/FMP. Take full responsibility in raising and controlling the Project Change Request (PCR) in line with issued procedures and guidelines. Project Interface & Stakeholder Management

14) Liaise closely with internal technical and production teams to identify, plan and coordinate activities to be performed during major plant/facilities shutdowns. Ensure quality development of relevant Process Engineering KPIs, SCurves, and reporting for all activities under his leadership and in line with TSU various plans and strategies.

15) Liaise closely with the technical team of Qatar Energy on various technical matters related to design, operation and performance of the Dolphin facilities.

16) Liaise with other Oil & Gas operating companies to review and receive their feedback on various technical and operational issues being encountered by Dolphin and also interact with them for technical information exchange.

17) Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by the Director Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Educational Requirements / Qualifications: Degree in chemical engineering or in other relevant Engineering field. Any relevant certification/ diploma in oil & gas process management or equivalent would be an advantage.

Minimum Experience: 12 process engineering including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.

Skills and Competencies: Sound technical background, knowledge and understanding of Oil & Gas engineering practices In depth knowledge in Process Engineering methodologies including conceptual designs, artwork and design works best practices. Hands on work experience and solid knowledge in Feasibility Studies.

Solid knowledge on risk management methodologies. Anticipate and meet the need of both internal & external customers. Good degree of competency in people skills and listening skills, both of which are aimed at getting the best performance out of the team.

Strong management and leadership skills. Excellent strategic conceptual thinking and analytical ability.

PRIMARY purpose

Overview / Job Description

PRIMARY purpose:

Manage the provision of catering services for Dolphin Energy – Ras Laffan Operations, Al Khor Housing Community and Union Trust Tower staff .

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage and administer full range catering activities and services at Ras Laffan industrial City, Al Khor Housing Complex and Union Trust Tower Doha.
  • Ensure cost effective management of catering service contracts, selecting and recommending the best quality service contractors and overseeing the work carried out and performance of assigned staff.
  • Manage catering contract personnel and service providers to ensure that scope of work is followed and establish and renew Catering contracts as and when required.
  • Conduct operational and health & hygiene audits  on Companies Onshore and Offshore catering operations for all locations.
  • Perform food and water safety tests at all Company catering locations.
  • Establish and implement Service Level Agreement for catering contract and associated services and also, assist Departments to establish SLAs for other services.
  • Participate in Task Risk Assessments (TRA’s) for all catering related activities (routine & maintenance shut downs).
  • Manage the performance of catering contractors and their assigned staff to ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures and QHSE standards including monitoring their hygiene standards related to food production, food service, customer service, presentation and cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular audits of kitchen and canteen areas to control hygienic standards of food handling and preparation processes to ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
  • Monitor Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) including regular pest control at Ras Laffan and Al Khor canteens.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

Minimum Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • HACCP certification is an advantage

Overview / Job Description

PRIMARY purpose

Plan, lead and manage all activities of the BCM and Implement, embed, monitor, assess and manage the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) for Dolphin Energy across the UAE, Qatar and all Dolphin facilities. Ensure all relevant plans and procedures are fit for purpose through internal reviews, assessment drills, exercises and implementing necessary updates to documents, facilities and ensure compliance with the requirements. Provision of technical expertise to all departments in relation to BC as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) for Dolphin Energy across UAE, Qatar and all Dolphin facilities, to effectively implement the program and maintain the operations phase of the BCMS, ensuring it is compliant with applicable laws and applicable standards / best practices.
  • Develop, maintain and implement business continuity strategies and solutions, resulting from risk assessments, business impact analyses and ensure update of the BCMS documentation.
  • Implement relevant consultancy contracts overseeing the implementation and improvement of the BCMS report to management as required.
  • Plan and conduct regular business continuity related drills and exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies against an agreed annual exercise programme.
  • Ensure lessons learned from drills, exercises and real disruption events are properly collected and engineered back into the BCMS as improvements / corrective actions.
  • Manage all documentation relating to the BCMS and ensure its regular updates are conducted and coordinated with other relevant business units, as required.
  • Review and provide feedback and recommendations on the policies and procedures for Business Continuity Management and ensure compliance with DEL requirements.
  • Provide input into the Business Continuity department objectives, business plan, KPI and budget.
  • Support Director Risk & Quality and CRQ department in the development of related policies, processes, procedures, guidelines and controls which ensure Dolphin’s activities meet strategic goals and conform to best practices.
  • Support BC assessments and audits, in addition to reviewing and managing the implementation of agreed actions.
  • Provide BC technical support to the Crisis Management Team (CMT), Emergency Management Teams (EMTs) and Emergency Response Teams (ERTs).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, science, or relevant discipline.
  • Certification from recognized institutes and or professional organizations (e.g., BCI) is an advantage

Minimum Experience

  • 10+ years’ relevant experience in business continuity in a large organization with at least 4 years in the oil/gas industry, is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of process management and understanding of international BC standards and Business Continuity Planning.

Overview / Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the activities of assigned personnel in the Well Services unit on a technical and administrative basis, in addition to performing supervisory duties and exercising financial authority at the level established by management for the position.
  • Participate in the weekly and monthly meetings with Reservoir, Production, in preparing and presenting required technical information when required.
  • Participate in the yearly setting of the Offshore Operations section’s objectives, meeting with management and other departments / division heads to review project goals and operating and engineering requirements for completion programmes, in order to be able to provide updates on monthly well services activities and work sequences.
  • Manage and coordinate with Contractors providing Slickline, E-Line, services, OEM vendors for capital well equipment in receiving safe and efficient services. This includes proving the Contractors with operation forecast, equipment inspection and qualifying the personnel deployed at the well site operations.
  • Coordinate technical studies to improve overall efficiency of Well Services activities. Prepare and approve periodic and ad-hoc reports summarizing activities.
  • Preparation of detailed step wise operational program for well integrity, well intervention and testing, activities, assigning work to subordinates and reviewing / evaluating draft proposals for technical and operational feasibility, adding or modifying details to completion drawings and technical matters as required.
  • Lead the well services unit and coordinate with production, reservoir, and onshore sections / units, as required, in addition to providing technical advice and expertise on all locations, playing a key role in generation of relevant “Operational Procedures Guides”, and reviewing / approving work related programs.
  • Lead and ensure the efficient, methodical, and safe operations of Well Services, including the preparation and testing of tubing, downhole equipment, subsurface safety valves, X-Mas Tree, and wireline operations during subsequent production phase, in addition to coordinating well integrity operations and diagnosing abnormalities of well behaviours downhole and surface, whilst ensuring all operations are carried out in accordance with all stipulated guidelines and procedures.
  • Conduct HSE inspection at well site, Contractor base and participate in incident investigations as needed.
  • Participate and coordinate in the development, review, approval, and implementation of the Annual Logging Campaign with concerned units in Offshore Operations and production.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control Level-4

Minimum Experience:

10 years’ relevant experience as a Petroleum Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry with demonstrated Surveillance/Production Engineering expertise in carrying out well integrity in large oil and gas fields, including 3 years experience in supervisory roles

Skills & Competencies

Proven experience at recommending remedial well work solutions for all type of wells in heterogeneous gas reservoirs with variable geo-layer parameters: porosity, permeability, water saturation, thickness, etc
