Main responsibilities :

Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of:

– A comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Institute’s image and position within the market and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications; and all marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials of the organization including publications, media relations, website content, etc.

Manage all external communications output and the Institute’s brand and reputation.
Drawing up an introductory plan for the institute by attracting new segments of students, professors and researchers.
– Ensure the production and distribution of high-quality media and audio-visual brochures and publications and their distribution to the media and the public to enhance the Institute’s image, and maintain good and close working relationships with all major media companies.
Work with the media to publish the Institute’s information in a timely manner, such as brochures for schools and centers, and any other materials.
Ensure that the communication strategy is consistent and reflects the strategic vision of the organization.
Develop branding initiatives, internal communications and external media relations.
Preparing and publishing publications of conferences and events, as well as organizing and holding conferences and seminars to present the views of the Institute.
Issuing newsletters and media circulars, in addition to other publications about the activities of the Institute and the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, as well as to circulate them regularly to all employees.
Ensure that information, news and events of the Institute reach its diverse audience through appropriate channels.
– Dealing with suppliers and following them up to design and print materials with the desired quality.
Dealing with all internal/external events, conferences and seminars organized by the Institute and the Arab Center.
– Enhancing the institute’s name and reputation (as a brand) on social media.
Implement social media strategies and perform social media community management duties.
Using modern technology to develop marketing plans that expand the presence and spread of the institute’s brand in the new search engines.
– Managing relations with the media.
Develop internal publications such as newsletters, releases, email announcements, planned online and intranet publications, video, special projects, and assignments.
– Produce and disseminate email communications and marketing campaigns.
Refine key messages to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication.
Ensure consistent framing of messages.
– Publishing video clips and photography on the Institute’s website and blogs.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills :

Educational qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing and Public Relations preferred. Postgraduate degree in a related field desirable.

Experiences :

You must have at least 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

Experience in a supervisory role.

Skills : 

1. Demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience in designing and implementing marketing, events, communications and public relations activities.

Job Summary :

The history program at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies would like to hire an assistant professor or associate professor specializing in medieval Islamic history. Priority is given to those interested in the history of the Arabian Peninsula and to candidates who are proficient in the Arabic language and/or have a special interest in research and practice in the Arab world.

Main responsibilities :

The Psychology Program is pleased to invite experienced visiting lecturers with a PhD in Clinical Psychology, whatever the field of specialization. The contract will be during one semester (either Spring 2022/2023 or Fall 2023/2024)

Primary Responsibilities:

We expect the applicant to have the experience and ability to teach at least three of the following compulsory program courses: Clinical Neuropsychology, Professional Ethics, Psychiatric Disorders, Clinical Assessment, Clinical Intervention, Research Methods and Statistics, in addition to teaching subjects that fall within his or her research interests. We also expect visiting researchers to teach two graduate-level courses and provide free lectures within their research interests.

Job objectives :

Supervising and directing the accounting, financial planning and reporting functions at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, maintaining the integrity of the institute’s financial procedures, documenting and approving revenues and expenditures, preparing financial reports and ensuring the availability of information to make correct financial decisions. In addition to developing the policies, regulations and processes governing all financial transactions at the Institute.

Main responsibilities :

– Developing financial organizational strategies and preparing the necessary financial reports and submitting them to the senior management and the board of trustees to enable them to take appropriate decisions, and communicate basic information related to financial affairs, economic growth, the development of the institute and colleges and all related matters.

– Preparing the estimated budget of the Institute, the annual budget and the final account in coordination with the departments of the Institute, and ensuring that the budget plans are in line with the strategy.

Overseeing treasury management, cash management, debt management, loans and investment management.

– Supervising the implementation of appropriations and auditing revenue and expenditure accounts.

– Reviewing and developing the existing financial regulations and procedures in line with the Institute’s strategy, and adopting prudent and thoughtful policies and systems to deal with all financial transactions.

– Ensuring the existence of systems and controls to ensure the highest standards of financial honesty and integrity in the departments of the Institute, and maintaining a high level of financial responsibility and transparency.

Ensure that there are records of all bonds, property, contracts, leases and other financial or legal agreements.

– Ensuring the implementation of financial operations in accordance with the regulations, regulations, circulars and decisions, within a framework of sensing responsibility and diligent work in completing transactions with the required speed, ensuring the best results are achieved in accordance with regulations and laws.

  • Experience in a position in financial operations management, preferably in higher education institutions.
  • Good knowledge of General Accounting Principles (GAAP).
