OBJECTIVE: As the Content Writer you will be responsible for content development across multiple channels, including web, landing pages, social media, email, video, print, corporate communication, and press releases. This candidate should demonstrate the ability to write with an understanding of product and brand positioning in our industry. Experience writing product copy and spec details for digital and print. Ability to write copy for campaigns and product launches as it pertains to marketing materials, print and digital collateral and press releases. This role is critical in Marketing, and we are looking for a great team player with great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the key stakeholders in our organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Write on-brand content that’s consistent across all platforms and follow the brand’s style, quality, and tone.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and external vendors to write product descriptions, product specs.
Perform content audits to evaluate existing content and asserts for quality, consistency, and impact to determine to build, edit, or remove content.
Work with HR and department stakeholders to create and distribute the internal company newsletter.
Marketing and Press Releases
Ability to update content in CMS (EPiServer) and other software.
Strong writing skills and 2-3 years of editorial experience. – We would love to see a portfolio or clips if you have them and you can expect to fill out an edit test.
The ability to balance creative thinking with a data-driven approach, gathering and acting on key performance insights.
Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional capacity, as this role will touch brand marketing and more.
Strong project and calendar management skills, managing internal stakeholders and multiple campaigns at once.
Flexibility, able to adjust on the fly to changes in deadlines and asset availability.
The ability to manage content and brand voice across multiple channels for print and digital.
