About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

As a core member of our Data Operations team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

• You will act as an operational lead within your group, ensuring that the overall objectives laid out by your VP are met on a daily, monthly, and annual basis by liaising with other managers within wider Data Operations.
• You will oversee the Dividends team in Halifax, which ensures correct dividend income for our clients and works to resolve payment discrepancies against client and prime brokers
• You will work closely with your team to ensure high levels of quality across client deliverables, ensuring that both SLA breaches and processing errors are kept at manageable levels
• You will focus on key operational metrics across your team to ensure staff related issues are identified and addressed within a timely matter. You will work under the guidance of your VP to contribute positive impact in areas such as overtime, ME bubble, and attrition
• You will directly manage local staff, perform reviews of staff and help guide career progression for members of your team
• As a lead within your specific location you will work closely with the other locations within your function to ensure consistency and quality within your function
• Contribute positively towards projects, but in regards to idea generation and follow through
• You will work as liaison for clients with Citco Data Services Helpdesk, the group that actually adds securities to the Æxeo system
• You will report into the Vice President of Data Operations

About You:

• You have a minimum 6 years’ experience in Fund Administration or Brokerage Operations with a strong understanding of financial markets
• You have strong corporate actions and project experience, with a focus on dividends
• In depth instrument knowledge of equities and swaps, with other products a bonus
• Experience in an accounting environment, with an understanding of different P&L treatments
• You have familiarity with Bloomberg and/or IHS Markit
• You have the ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person
• You are adaptable and perceptive
