We are looking for a fantastic Talent Acquisition Project Coordinator who will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to manage all logistics associated with talent acquisition projects/programs and initiatives.

You will be responsible for supporting the project in all aspects including planning logistics, communicating with key stakeholders, documenting meeting notes and action items, interacting with vendors and other key tasks. We require very strong project coordination skills, an interest in working in the field of Talent Acquisition, and passion around diversity, equity, and inclusion.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage international travel requests on behalf of candidates
  • Work in close partnership with Universities and Business Schools, manage the annual event calendar, job board postings, process event invoices, manage post event feedback
  • Support the onboarding of new members of the Talent Acquisition team, working with all relevant departments to ensure they are set up and onboarding meetings are scheduled
  • Manage and coordinate the team social events
  • Provide general support to the Talent Acquisition team by assisting with ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Prepare power point presentations
  • Administering psychometric testing tools
  • Extensive diary management for recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers
  • Managing interview logistics – booking rooms, catering requirements etc
  • Creating accurate dashboards and internal reports for internal business stakeholders to deliver insight and aid decision-making.
  • Organising candidate events and preparing materials and equipment

What you’ll need to succeed

  • At least 2 years previous experience within a Project Admin / Executive Assistant role ideally within a People and Culture environment
  • Must have excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience of working with applicant tracking databases a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to deal with senior level internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both written and verbal communications

What you’ll be doing

At Chalhoub, we share leading brands with the world. As a category manager you will be responsible for defining and driving the “offer” and purchasing strategy for different products categories and brands. You will also define the action plan for the categories, merchandising, promotional activities, prices and negotiations.

Develop the business plan of the Department in line with the strategic objectives of the Brand
Formulate and communicate the Department performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and alignment towards strategic objectives
Develop the Department policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfilment of organizational requirements
Oversee the operations of the Department, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and facilitate related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and staff pride in contribution
Monitor the yearly budget of the Department and control expenditure to ensure optimal use
Define the offer strategy for the stores in the designated area in alignment with the brand’s values
Validate the strategy with the GM/Captain
Negotiate annual commercial agreements and the commercialization of advertising spaces with the brands
Drive the development of the margin and the budgetary objectives
Category Performance Management:

Benchmark current performance vs. the competition and the peer market
Create different tools to improve the categories’ performance
Manage segmentation, seasonal activities, action plans for the stores; follow up on the results
Manage the existing catalogue, optimising on the mix at the points of sale
Identify the products with potential and research new products
Develop a wide range of services (skincare – make up – lessons – etc.) to be adapted to each category
Prepare the periodic category reviews
Supplier Relations:

Create partnerships with the brands and follow up on the results
Handle the negotiations with existing and potential partners
Optimize the merchandising plan and the allocation of space vs. the volume of margin
Develop new merchandising aids, tools, and new concepts
Coordinate new openings (Brands/Merchandising/Promotions) or refitting of sales areas
Register newly imported brands to the market, in compliance with the regulations of each country
Benchmark current pricing vs. the competition and the peer market
Recommend adjustments on the pricing policy to the GM/Captain
Handle the production of the annual calendar for the brands promotions, launches, etc.
Assess the requirements and coordinate with relevant internal/external stakeholders (Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Suppliers, Category Managers and Logistics)
Negotiate with suppliers for the stock returns (discontinued and slow movers)
Assign individual objectives for employee performance management purposes, manage performance, empower staff, and provide formal and informal feedback in order to support professional development and maximize performance
What you’ll need to succeed

Minimum 5 years of category management and buying experience
Background in beauty and makeup
Passion and love for beauty products
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen

What you will be doing

Our Cash Office Administrator’S responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally. Ultimately, you will ensure that all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.

Reports:

  • Updating DSR for all the locations on a daily basis
  • Excel tracker for Ecom transaction paid thru credit card in store
  • Sharing Monthly Sales reports to the Brands with accounting & finance team.
  • Sharing Monthly sales report for Ecommerce Location.

Petty Cash Handling:

  • Preparing daily petty cash expenses for the store.
  • Petty cash statements need to send to Finance for GL validation and approval.
  • Need to prepare petty cash statements and get approval from the Management and send to accounts for replenishment

Cash/Sales Reconciliation:

  • Doing daily cash/card reconciliation for all the Tills
  • Sending an email to the accounts – Daily reconciliation file, Manual invoice Tracker, Ecom COD Tracker, Ecom Card TRN paid in Store details, GC Tracker.
  • Investigation for the all the discrepancies from the cash and other mode of payments.
  • Safe hand over & take over between the shift. Need to count all the safe contents including Main Cash Float, balance Cash float bag, petty cash, cash refund, Ecom cash refund, concierge float and all other contents.
  • Need to make the adjustment on POS after the issue closed by the line managers and update to the brands and accounts.
  • VAT Refund process needs to be checked by our side. Update in the VAT Refund Tracker.
  • Needs to count all the float bags from the cashiers after they close the register if any diff.
  • Needs to prepare TG bags, deposit slips and deposit all the sales cash and drop inside the Drop down Safe. Separate bag for different locations.
  • Coordinating with Transguard team for the cash collection.

IT Related Issues:

  • Coordinating with IT team for all report related issues. Raising incident and doing follow up

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Strong administration skills
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
  • Good math skills
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • High school degree
  • Based in Abu Dhabi
