UX is in high demand at CDK, so this position will have many opportunities in the coming months and years. Your first step will be joining a tightly knit team of talented UX practitioners working on the highest priority project in the organization: redesigning the software at the core of CDK’s business. You will perform research and design work for a variety of very specialized personas. You will help us raise our enterprise software products to the usability standards of today’s best consumer apps.

You will need to be self-driven as you run your own design projects and work with product managers and engineers. However, you will not be alone, and we do not expect you to know everything. You will be supported as you collaborate with a team of both new and experienced researchers and designers.

The work will not be flashy marketing web sites. Instead, we offer an inexhaustible supply of complex and intriguing puzzles for you to solve with the latest technology at your disposal, and in an industry that is undergoing rapid change that we are helping to drive.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Naturally curious with demonstrated excellence in critical thinking and tackling complex situations and problems.
• Excellence in written and verbal communication skills, including user, product team and stakeholder interactions and presentations.
• Experience with Agile processes and tools including refinement, estimation, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Experience working in a fast-paced software development environment
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating your user-centered design craft, user research methods, visualizations of complex experiences, storytelling, sketches, mock-ups, prototypes, etc.
