Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist position is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a drive to learn, the ability to manage competing priorities, a flexible attitude, and be self-motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily invoicing of the shipment from different warehouse to customer and related entities
Generating daily shipment reports
Service billing -Annual Service Plan & Contract per Sales Order released by Order Management department
Daily cash application for remittance received
Generate email for fund transfer for payment received from customer for other related entity invoices
Service invoice submission for completed contracts along with field service report
Monitor sales tax account upon billing – Canada / USA
Generate and review open order report for service billing
Generate Monthly AR Statement for emailing to related entities.
Customer AR statement for past due invoices
Sales split based on Product Line – based on current procedure and pass necessary Journal.
Distributor commission working (if any)
Month End duties Related to Accounts Receivable -Proof of Delivery report based on Inco-Term
Maintenance of customer record for new customer account setup and changes during the month/Quarter
Support in preparation of monthly Revenue Summary.
Reply to customer Inquiry for Invoices and supporting doc.
Month end JE related to Discount to customers
Calculation of AR -Reserve based on corporate guidelines.
SOX Related AR duties -maintenance of files and folder and reply to internal/ external auditor’s inquiries
Education and Experience:
3+ years of experience working in an Accounts Receivable role
Associates Degree or higher preferred
Strong customer service skills
Computer and ERP system proficient
Experience and comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite -Excel spreadsheets and Outlook
Detailed oriented, accurate and great follow through
Strong business communications skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
