Overview / Job Description

Regulated Waste Specialist Responsibilities

• Characterization/determination of waste including proper segregation, containerizing, labeling and preparing for shipment, in accordance with DOT and RCRA requirements.
• Physical maintenance and organization of the waste storage/management areas and all satellite accumulation areas, in accordance with regulatory requirements and applicable network policies.
• Re-ordering of equipment, containers, labels and other supplies from the waste vendor or other vendors to maintain proper stock levels.
• Ensure that required records needed to assist with policy-required waste recordkeeping, including waste generator logs and routine inspections, are being completed and maintained.
• Liaison with Site Safety teams, ICQA, ISS, Vendor Returns and facilities teams responsible for the proper management of hazardous chemicals and generation of hazardous and universal wastes.
• Support the Site Safety Team in preparing monthly waste inventory and identifying the necessary shipping frequency to comply with accumulation requirements.
• Researching trends, inventory loss and cost reduction efforts, where applicable.
• Must be trained to handle and process waste in accordance with RCRA, DOT, OSHA and state specific regulations and requirements. Must be trained in HAZWOPER and be available to assist with incidental spill/leak/release clean-up activities.
• Support the Site Safety Team in collection and management of donations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old
• Excellent attention to detail and work with the highest level of accuracy
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to clearly communicate with managers and associates at all levels
• Ability to stand for prolong periods and lift up to 49 lbs (check Safety Specialist requirements)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Explorer)
• Proficiency with computer software use (e.g., Gensuite, KNET)
• Proven ability to work productively and efficiently in an independent setting and within a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with inventory, bin types, containers, and all tools used to move product throughout the warehouse
• Understanding of Receiving and VRETs processes
• Experience pre-sorting and final sorting waste

  • EPA Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Training ID 22106

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The Role:

As a Software Build and Dev Engineer, you will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for consumers and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including Amazon Robotics.

As build and dev engineer on the platform team, you will be building out next generation build and release infrastructure for our product. You will owning the end-to-end responsibility for the automated builds and test creation, integration and release infrastructure. You will work closely with the BSP and application teams to ensure the highest level of quality for your deliverables.

The Role:
As the SCM, build and release engineer you are expected to own the integration and deployment pipeline. You will also own the Automation, Configuration Management, build and release management. You are expected to be manage code in Git repos and also own the branching and merging strategies.

You are expected to understand and improve the toolchains and cross compilation infrastructure. You optimize the developer to customer delivery workflow including the build and OTA flow. You leverage your Test, Build and Integration expertise to enable multiple platforms. You collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of all tasks.

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of fully automated Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment pipelines and Build/Update processes.

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience

  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
