Overview of the role
The Sales Assistant is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer Experience, and for a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (i.e. Housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.)
What you will do
Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness
Participates in and attends all store meetings and other related functions
Represents a positive attitude toward the merchandise, the brand and the company
Participates in all inventories
Assumes and completes other duties as assigned by store management.
Meets or exceeds weekly sales targets
Satisfactorily completes all duties as assigned by management
Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedule
Is flexible and works well with peers and management to accomplish duties

Performs housekeeping duties as required
Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code

Provides customers with current relevant information
Provides quality service in the fitting rooms, follows up with customers in a timely manner, maintains cash wrap cleanliness and attempts to add on to the sale about the product
Provides efficient service at the cash wrap, offers gift cards, maintains cash wrap cleanliness and captures customer information in the database

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: High School Degree
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of Fashion retail sales experience

The Company
Doha Marketing Services Company W.L.L. (DOMASCO), an overseas joint venture of the reputable UAE-based Al Futtaim Group, has been operating business in Qatar for 15 years and has sole distribution rights for Honda, Volvo cars and trucks, reputed brands of watches and electronics such as Raymond Weil, Casio and Sanyo as well as Yanmar marine engines in the country.
The Role
As Marine Service Supervisor, you will manage and lead a team of marine technicians in allocating workload and managing the day to day operations in the workshop. You will ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard. Reporting to the Marine Sales & Aftersales Manager, your key accountabilities are as follow:
Responsible for the day to day operations of the marine workshop and field service units.
Planning, organizing, and supervising the day-to-day activities of the workshop including staff management.
Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, parts availability and technicians’ skills.
Greet customers and determine needs, providing clear and precise instructions on the job cards for the marine technicians.
Receive and review feedback from customers and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify client’s needs and explain/demonstrate DOMASCO marine services to them, which may involve technical descriptions of Honda outboard engines and Yanmar marine diesel engines and the way they may be used.
Maintain and establish good relationship with customers.
Develop and implement systems to record, file and store information pertaining to client enquiries.
Ensure that the complaint, cause, and correction of each problem are noted in the Repair order
The Person:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Certificate or Diploma in Marine Engineering. You must be experienced in marine industry and must have high technical skills, experience and knowledge to diagnose, repair and install marine outboard engines. Good verbal and written communication skills and good customer service skills is also required in this role.
